Your Wellness Journey
Starting on the path of energy work resembles a journey toward holistic wellness, emphasizing that it's not a swift cure but a continuous evolution. Similar to adopting a healthy eating routine or acquiring a new skill, energy work, particularly with the Body Code system, is a profound exploration.
One of my first energy healing sessions was on a tailbone pain that had been brewing for about 9 months. It hurt to stand, sit, walk etc. My practitioner did energy work on the tailbone pain and I walked away feeling amazing! Very little pain and I couldn’t believe in just one visit, the pain was almost 100% gone. About two weeks later, some of the pain started to come back. I remember picking up the phone to voice my frustration that it “didn’t work” and she invited me back for another session. It was after that session that the pain went away and it has never returned. I still believe to this day that the pain came back so I would go back to her for another visit…the body is always communicating and this was my body’s way of saying “Hey! We liked that healing session and want more. Go back and get some more work done!”
When confronting physical trauma, progress is often more tangible. Imagine chronic low back pain as a roadblock – with each session, we collaboratively work to dismantle that obstacle. After a few sessions, relief becomes noticeable, and the path to physical wellness starts to clear. It's a measurable and encouraging process.
However, emotional trauma weaves into the fabric of your being over years, maybe decades, creating intricate patterns that may not unravel immediately. Like learning a new skill or undergoing therapy, the journey toward emotional healing is a gradual process. As for myself, I saw my energy healing practitioner for 9 or more months regarding one topic that was emotionally distressing. It felt like each time I went to her, we were talking about the same topic. Finally after 9 or more months, we figured out the key to completely release that trauma circle and again, I have never had to revisit that issue.
As your energy work guide, my role is that of a passenger holding the map, assisting you on your wellness journey. You, the driver, determine the pace and direction, while I provide the tools and support needed to release what no longer serves you. Importantly, energy work is not a 'cure' for ailments. Instead, it moves energy out of the way, allowing the body to naturally heal itself.
You have heard the saying 'time heals all wounds,' and this rings true with energy work as well. It takes time to unravel the traumas woven into your body. The essence lies in acknowledging that this road to enhanced physical or mental well-being may not be a 'one and done' experience. After just one session, the hope is that you begin to sense a positive shift – shedding emotional baggage, feeling increased happiness, joy, and inner calm. While the full release of accumulated energies may take several sessions, the initial impact can be transformative.
